Paul became a partner of Yorkville Advisors UK, LLP in January 2008, in which he brings over 25 years of industry expertise in the high technology industry, which spans mobile telecommunications, semiconductors and the Internet. He has worked in Fortune 500 Corporations such as; Marconi, Texas Instruments, SGS Thomson, Motorola and Sony.

Paul began his career as a research engineer and progressed through a range of technical and commercial disciplines to roles such as Motorola European Vice President of Cellular operations, a role he had in his thirties managing a US $1.0 billion P&L and several thousand people. He has conducted business and negotiations in US, Europe and Asia including the world’s largest GSM infrastructure contract. In recent years Paul has addressed his entrepreneurial desires. He has worked with a range of venture capitalists, private equity firms and technology companies in roles from advisor, fundraiser, interim manager, board member and Chairman.

He has also established business for US companies that were establishing operations in Europe both financially and operationally. Such roles have included Chief Executive Officer of Keeneurope.com in London, Executive Chairman of Alternis in Paris, Executive Chairman of Mobileaware in Ireland the a board member of Microemmisive Displays in Scotland and fund advisor to Nauta Capital Spain. Amongst other activities Paul is the technology and business advisor to Manchester United Football Club.

Paul is uniquely Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and also a charter engineer. He is also a member of MENSA. Paul has earned an EE degree from the University of Manchester and Studied at the Sundridge Park Management School.
