Alasdair spent 20 years in research at the University of Manchester focused on microprocessors and microcomputers, and their associated operating systems, device drivers, compilers, and development environments.
In 1995, with a team of graduate students, Alasdair began development of the Dynamic Binary Translation software that launched Transitive in October 2000.
